Objective:

The Chinese Language School of Connecticut is a fully accredited organization which teaches Mandarin Chinese using effective, proven methods, allowing you to acquire practical communication skills within a set timeframe.

Instructors:

The CLSC faculty consists of experienced, native-speaking, Chinese teachers who are graduates of universities in the U.S. and China. Staff development workshops, conducted by teaching professionals, take place regularly. Senior instructors, who have either two or more years experience, are educational professionals or CLSC officers, are available on a limited basis.

Classes:

Classes are conducted at either our facility in Greenwich or at a mutually-convenient location (such as your home or office, a school or library), by a trained CLSC professional, and are customized to your needs. CD-Rom, audio, and video learning technologies are offered, where appropriate, to enhance students’ development, and to give each student optimal opportunity to reinforce new material. Online distance learning options are also available.

Cancellation / Missed Class Policy:

If a class needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, the student (or parent of the student if under 18) will contact the teacher directly and will give at least 24 hours’ notice by phone or 48 hours by email.  If less notice is given, the student will be charged for the class.
